Mike Thomas Painting was founded in 1994 and is based in Kinderhook New York. Born and raised in Columbia County I have been in the painting industry since 1990. Prior to 1990 I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. With my degree I managed corporate restaurants in New Jersey. I believe my experience managing restaurants and working in the service sector has contributed to the success of my painting company.

Mike Thomas painting, we don't do roofing, carpentry, masonry or any other trades. We are not a jack-of-all-trades business. We'll recommend other contractors for those jobs. We only specialize in the finest painting and staining applications.
Mike Thomas painting is fully insured, providing all of our employees with workers compensation and employer liability insurance. We do not use sub-contractors giving us better control of the finished product. Some contractors claim to be fully insured but are not. We'll provide our customers with an insurance certificate showing our coverage. With an insurance certificate in hand our customers can be at ease.
